Through a post in his Facebook account, Thaci said no one could rewrite history.

“I have just landed in Tirana, from returning from The Hague, and by evening I will arrive in Kosovo. Tomorrow at 8:00 will talk about the past four days at The Hague. Have a nice weekend. I assure you, no one can rewrite our story! HTH”, Thaci wrote.

Thaci has arrived in Kosovo yesterday, where he was hosted by organisations released from the KLA war and numerous citizens at the border checkpoint in Morina.

In addition to the reception organised in Morina, Thaci has also been received by residents of the Komoran village of Drenas.

Those with flags in their hands have come out near the magistrates that lead to Pristina, to host President Thaci.

At Thaci border, meanwhile, he waved to them through Facebook and thanked them for their support.

A heartfelt thanks to you brothers and sisters, who in this difficult time not only because of my pandemic, today you have received me with open arms as always. Gratitude and gratitude for all citizens of our proud Kosovo. Always with you! HTH (Photo: Astriat Ibrahimi)”, Thaci wrote on Facebook.

Otherwise, on Thursday after the interview ended, President Thaci told reporters in front of The Hague's specialised Prosecution building that he has given his testimony and that he expects the prosecutor and the judge to decide professionally for his testimony.

Journalists were interested in whether the president was questioned about alleged crimes in the so-called yellow house and post-war crimes, but Thaci said he was not asked about these cases by the prosecutor.

“Tonight I have no right to speak about any information about my testimony for four days, but about your question that you posed, until today I have not been asked about such claims in any case. Again, such claims have not been submitted to my address for this period”, he said.

Thaci was invited to The Hague after the Specialised Prosecutor's Office announced last month that, on April 24th, it has filed an indictment for war crimes and crimes against humanity against him, against Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini, and some others whose names have not been made public.

In a media communiqué, the Specialised Prosecutor's Office claims that “hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini and other suspects have been prosecuted responsible for approximately 100 illegal killings. The crimes presented in the indictment include hundreds of identified Albanian, Serbian and Roma victims of Kosovo and political opponents”.

This is the first time the public knows that a person has been invited for an interview, since an indictment has already been filed against this person.

However, it is not known where Thaci is invited to this interview.

The contents of the indictment are confidential until the judge confirms them.

The primary procedure judge has a maximum of six months, from April, to confirm or reject the charges.

On June 29th, Thaci stated that if the prosecution's indictment against him is confirmed, then he will immediately resign from the president's position.
