The Democratic Party of Kosovo has backed down from the draft resolution it was presented at last session for reporting Prime Minister Hoti to the assembly for dialogue.
This draft resolution was meant to be voted in today, but MP PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has said they will withdraw, there is another political situation.
The day we had the prime minister's negotiating session for dialogue in Kosovo was another political situation, that it was before the Prosecution's statement of the indictment to Thaci and Wessel took place. Normally, an important issue such as dialog”.
And this dispute is not right now and we proposed a draft resolution. The reason was with the announced meeting that it should be held with Kosovo and Serbia in the US. Now we know that meeting was canceled. So we have potentially a change of approach”.
This process that started long ago certainly matters very much and normally that a serious state, first of all, as the highest institution in the country can't stand and it can't be just a place where it reports before and after visits”.
The” resolution that we've proposed more has after technical than political. The goal was to prove a certain obligation of this report. We believe that the Assembly should have a more comprehensive approach in the sense of monitoring this process”.
In that sense we withdraw from the vote and the draft discussion [the resolution we've proposed at the hearing in question, and we believe there should be another resolution with what I told”, Krasniqi said.
