Officials from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Modernna and Pfizer will testify before the Energy and Trade Committee.

Five companies, along with others, are in a race to develop the disease vaccine that causes Coronavirus, COVID-19.

The United States has given billions of dollars to fund some of them.

“Sance will provide opportunities both for Congress and for the American people to listen directly to some producers who are currently developing potential vaccines against COVID-19”, the Energy and Market Committee said.

The hearing comes one day after Oxford University has announced that a vaccine he developed against the Coronobrus seems to be harmless and that it trains the immune system.

Human trials have shown that, after injection, antibodies and white blood cells have been created that can fight the coronary.

Last week, even the American company Moderna has said that her experimental vaccine has given promising signs.

According to the World Health Organization, at least 23 possible vaccines are currently being tested on humans.

At least 100 possible vaccines against COVID-19 is developing worldwide.

Coronavirus has affected over 14.7 million people in the world.

Of them, over 609,000,000 have died and over 8.2 million have recovered.
