United States President Donald Trump has officially launched US withdrawal procedures from the World Health Organisation (OBSH).
The United States is WHO's biggest financial contributor, who leads the fight against global diseases, including the pandemic and the coronary.
In April, Trump has cut off funds for WHO, later announcing even the organisation's full withdrawal plans.
Trump has officially informed UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that he has begun with US withdrawal procedures, a State Department spokesman said.
Stephanie Dujarric, Guterres spokesman, confirmed that the United States has made the announcement.
Trump has said that WHO, the United Nations agency, has failed to make the required and most necessary “reforms, following US concerns about how it handled the coronary pandemic.
Trump accused O The BSH to hide the spread of coronary, after it emerged in China, in December.
O The BSH has dismissed the charges.
