At the extraordinary conference of the House of Afarism in Kosovo, it has been called for urgent implementation of the full fiscal emergency package, budget review and approval of the package for economic recovery.
Hamdi Malushaj, a member of the OAK board, stressed that unfortunately the private sector is the most hit by Covid-19, causing the closure of many businesses and jobs.
While stressing that it has been five months since emergency package measures cannot be implemented, these measures which state institutions themselves have proposed.
Unfortunately, “Pandemia mostly hit the private sector, which created revenue for the state budget. Therefore, it is urgent to adopt the package for economic recovery and budget revision”, he said.
Diamond Elshani secretary of the board has asked the government and the assembly to pass the package for economic recovery as businesses go bankrupt.
We need the support of the state, especially for the recovery plan, otherwise we went bankrupt”, Elshani said.
The Afarism Oda signals that the situation could be exacerbated due to social crisis as a result of problems in the private sector as a result of pandemic.
