NSHK calls proposal-accusal to Wessel Thaci unacceptable

Members of the Kosovo Writers' League have met with indignation on the unconfirmed indictment of the Special Court prosecutor against the two main personalities of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and PDK chairman Kadri Veselini and nine others for alleged war crimes.

The League of Kosovo writers judges this unacceptable act, the undeclared and published indictment, and the accusation of those who for the freedom of Kosovo acted until sacrifice, without sparing even their lives.

This court, since its beginning was tried by many, began by the head of KLA, of those who gave everything for the freedom of this country. Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin and others were members of the KLA's General Staff, names that have protected the population from crime by opposing him, because Serb forces have no doubt spared no age to show their barbarity. Writers live with heroisms, with glory, pride and the extraordinary sacrifices that the Kosovo Liberation Army fighters have made, so they have always been with them and will be with them for the rest of their lives, said the communiqué.

The Kosovo Writers' League says it has not taken place anywhere in the world to accuse the liberations of not blaming the aggressors of the oppressor, those who have committed macabre crimes, who have taken and corpses, and have thrown them into Serb water pits to lose the traces of crime.

“Therefore, it was not the case to co-ordinate the actions of the Kosovo and NATO Liberation Army, the democratic world which was judging and condemning the violators of freedom, those who were making genocides over Albanians. The NLA was massive, an unprecedented determination of Albanians, a heroism from Skenderbe's wars to the glorious struggle for freedom of fearless fighters, that after a century the invasion could manage to break out of Serbian chains with many sacrifices of”, the communique ends.
