“We are in the middle of a new coronary attack. The epidemic is very strong -- worldwide and in our country --” said Netanyahu at the government hearing.

He warned that if emergency measures are not taken, many Israelites will die, Israeli media reports.

We are in a state of emergency. If we do not stop the spread of the coronary, we will not have health or economy, many Israeli citizens will lose their lives,” Netanyah said.

On Monday, the government will meet again to discuss possible new restrictive measures.

In the last 24 hours, 804 new cases were recorded in Israel and four people died. So far, 29.366 people have been infected, and 330 have died.
