Nagip Arifi has been elected mayor of the Bujanoc municipality today, and immediately promised he would be chairman of all, regardless of ethnicity and religion, Serbian media suggest.
In the coalition created by Arifi, as chairman of the party that won mostly mandates in elections held last month, for the first time since 2002 there are no Serbian and Roma national advisers.
For Arifi this is the fourth term as the mayor of Bujanoc. To vote 25 of the city's 26 Albanian assemblyists in the municipal Assembly.
His deputy has been elected Eagle Musliu.
