Murati: Second emergency package payments can be made without review

The package is envisioned for workers to benefit from 170 euros for two months -- April and May, respectively. So far, even after the creation of the new government, many businesses and workers have not yet received the promised payments.

Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami had said there is no budget to make second payments to workers from the Emergency Package.

In this regard, the chairman of the Commission for Budget and Transfer, Iron Murati, has said that these payments can be made without budget revision.

The second “salaries could be made without budget review. According to the Law on Public Finance Management and responsibilities, transfers of up to 25 percent between budgetary codes can be made. So it's enough to cut asphalt, so it can be paid by”, Murati said.

He has added that, even though it has been allowed to exceed the budget deficit, according to him, there are still no fees for citizens.

In a lack of numbers to pass the bills in the Assembly, this illegal and non-legitive government is trying to pressure the opposition to vote the bills under the payment pretext for citizens. The same was said last month, when they asked the Parliament for permission to exceed the deficit. So, “na let's go over, so we can make payments for citizens”. The permit for overpass was granted, but fees for citizens were still nowhere else”, he said.

Business representatives also say the current non-paid of these means is a lack of the will of the current government to support businesses and workers.
