The Ministry of Finance shows when to execute payments from Emergency Package

Many citizens, workers, and unemployed are waiting to receive money from the State's Emergency Fiscal Pack. Three days ago, the first review of this year's budget was voted in the Assembly.

Similarly, in the Commission for Business and Finance, Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami had said that the budget failure by the Parliament was holding the execution of tools by the Fiscal Emergency Package, business rent aid, and payment from other measures envisioned in this package.

From the Finance Ministry, they say they have requested that this bill be prosecuted as soon as possible in parliamentary commissions and brought to the Assembly for the final vote.

“As you know, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has approved Bill No. 07/L-014 for completing and changing Law No.07/ L-001 on budgetary divisions for the Kosovo Republic budget for 2020. As we have made it known, the Ministry of Finance has demanded that the bill be processed as soon as possible on parliamentary commissions so that the same one can be brought to the Assembly for the final vote”, said the response of Muharrem Sahin from the Public Communication Division at the Ministry of Finance.

According to this dictatorship, once the revised budget bill is enacted, payment execution will immediately be carried out by Emergency Fiscal Pack.

The Ministry of Finance “suggests that once the revised budget bill goes into effect, the execution of payment of emergency fiscal payment will be realised immediately. As for the time-term proceedings on the draft law in the Assembly, we beg you to address the Kosovo Assembly”, the ministry for Signal Gazette's response is said.

A week ago, Minister Hykmete had reported to the Board and Transfer Commission on the difficult financial situation in which Kosovo is currently in the wake of the pandemic, showing that currently no payment could be carried out by the Emergency Fiscal Pack, until 20 thousand people have been added to the social scheme of the 15th measure that they expect to receive from 130 euros.

The situation is highly emergency because we are completely blocked and we can no longer carry out any payment of the Emergency Fiscal Pack. This is the situation and we need everyone with responsibility to come out and help the private sector. There are 20 thousand individuals who today have been joining a social scheme for the 15th measure of the Emergency Fiscal Pack awaiting to receive 130 euros because their employers have not had a single cent of their pay during this period”, Bajrami had said.
