Health Minister Armend Zemaj hosted the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Kosovo today, Mr. Chağrı Sarkar they talked to about health co-operation between two countries.
Minister Zemaj thanked Ambassador Sakar for the contribution Turkey made to Kosovo in commitments for an adequate response to the Devov-19 pandemic.
Ambassador Cha rı Sackar has stressed that Pandemia Covid-19 has challenged all states and in this context, solidarity among peoples and co-operation is of utmost importance.
He said it is important for the population to implement the measures undertaken by the Government and recommendations given by medical experts.
Minister Zemaj said Kosovo has increased its capacities to confront Coddy-19, while co-operation with strategic partners has great significance to exchange experiences, but to offer each other's help.
At the beginning of the pandemic, the Republic of Turkey has assisted Kosovo with a large contingent of aid, mainly in professional protection equipment, beds and equipment, while days ago you helped also in opening the new maternity power at Istog municipality's Primary Health Care.
