Minister Bajrami gives details on 170 euro issue

Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has again been declared about the sharing of 170 euros as part of the emergency package measures.

In a Facebook post, she has said implementing the measures is a hostage to a review of the Parliament Budget Law.

The responsibility of the Ministry of Economy and Environment for measures in support of the private sector and the Ministry of Labour and Social Management for the size of 15” is written by Bajrami.

Dear citizens,

Many remarks have come to the Ministry of Finance for failing to implement emergency package measures.

I want to let you know a few things.

The first one; according to the government's new regulation of the Republic of Kosovo, the Ministry of Finance is responsible for ensuring the budget for full implementation of the emergency package and payment executions through the Treasury in accordance with the requirements the ministries of the line make.

Let me inform you that the Finance Ministry has found financial resources for implementing all measures of the initial package and for new measures for POR economic recovery these financial means can be spent only after the budget review passes.

Second; according to the government's new regulation of the Republic of Kosovo Ministry of Finance is not responsible for approval of apps/requirements. For application approval for all measures related to private sector measures are the inter-institative commission, which has completed its full-fledged work, is responsible for the Ministry of Economy and Environment for final list approval, and at the Finance Ministry simply comes the request for execution which the Treasury takes only a few hours for execution.

While for the 15th measure, the Ministry of Labour and Social Management and the Ministry of Finance only executes payments.

Thus, implementation of the measures is at the moment a hostage to the revising of the Budget Law in the Republic of Kosovo, while the moment it passes the budget revision in the Assembly, the responsibility is to the Ministry of Economy and Environment for measures in support of the private sector and the Ministry of Labour and Social Management for the measure of 15.
