US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer and EU special envoy for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak have said that the United States of America and the EU are not rivals and have the same goals and visions for the Western Balkan region.
In a video conference on “Balkan Diplomat”, organised by Concordia, the East West Institute (EWI) and the Belgrade Fund for Political Extinction (BFPE), Palmer said the United States would remain engaged in the region to ensure the final goal of normalising relations between Pristina and Belgrade, Klan Kosova broadcasts.
