MP from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Bekim Haxhiu gave the proposal for salary increases, while the other deputy of Kosovo PDK)sa, Memli Krasniqi, says the proposal has only voted his party.
“Talk about the 63 and 64 amendment, where only PDK deputies have voted pro-proposs to raise wages for health workers and police. No MP from other groups has supported this call”, Krasniqi told Express.
While none of the deputies in the Assembly voted in favour of wage increases, except for the PDK parliamentary group, the newspaper Express learns that LDK) voted against, while the VVić abstained.
The proposal for salary growth received only 24 votes, as many as PDK's deputies were in the hall. Votes that did not suffice for health personnel and police officers to increase wages.
