KMLDJJ after the outbreak of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, a number of unemployed and unemployed professionals showed themselves as volunteers in an effort to contribute to the fighting of pandemic, with no other purpose and without knowing how long this situation will last.
Over time, and with the escalation of cases of contact with COVID-19 and those who ended fatally, the number of health workers for the fact that even a number of health professionals were infected by the virus, Klan Kosova reports.
“In many reactions to Kmdlnj, we have demanded that the Kosovo government share additional health tools as well as that all those facing, with many risks and sacrifices, the t dealt an additional amount after the Kosovo Constitutional Court brought down the Law for salary hikes. Fortunately, today, the Kosovo government decided to allocate 300 euros to those health workers facing pandemic. Among other things, KMDLNJ has demanded that the number of employees in the health system increase. Lately, according to unverified information, 200 health workers have been employed. After that, there was disappointment over the suspicion that most of those employed were employed on party and nepotistic bases, ignoring professionalism as determining criteria. Professionals who have been volunteering for months, on their own expenses, risking their health, have been overlooked, and in most cases they have been rejected, although during their work they have gained an experience that newly accepted ones have not had”.
For this reason, to eliminate possible allegations of discrimination during employment, KMDLNj-We requested an independent investigation or investigation into the Parliamentary Commission for Health, after which, if it is found there have been violations and discrimination, concrete responsibility would be addressed to Kosovo Police and the State Prosecutor.
KMDLNJ calls the Ministry of Health to reflect in order to provide access to employee files that would be good and healthy for the Ministry itself in terms of increased transparency and accountability.
