Kastrati condemns murder in Kamenica: Act not acceptable

Kamenica Mayor Central Kastrati has reacted following the murder that took place today in the village of Beryvojca, where a man allegedly killed his wife.

Kastrati has said he feels deeply shocked.

No greater shock than hearing about murder in marriage. Where a man should find the greatest security, the highest understanding and love when murder occurs... it's hell itself.

I feel deeply shocked, depressed about an unusual event that occurred today in Camenica, where a woman was taken away in the most cruel way that her husband had ever been.

Domestic violence is the result of numerous circumstances, but the problem still lies in the lack of seriousness in dealing with this phenomenon. We have failed as a society to do enough to condemn this phenomenon and fight the factors that lead to the problem. This should disgrace and alarm us.
