Kadri Wessel message to fellow fighters and citizens who stood up for (VIDEO)

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini has thanked all fellow fighters and citizens for the support shown these days and for each one's readiness to be found nearby.

Leader of The PDK, through a video address video, has been addressed with a prayer to all Kosovo fellow fighters and citizens.

At this time of pandemic, as around the world, we are concerned about the lives of citizens. I don't want any life to be in danger. Because that was also the purpose of our war. Living free without risk of life. Everyone's life is worth it.

So, with the greatest understanding, and the most sincere request, I beg my fellow fighters and all citizens to cancel the protest”, Wessel said on video address.

Dear citizens,

The Association of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army has called a protest on July 9th in defense of the values of our fair fight for freedom and independence.

I sincerely thank my fellow fighters for their unhurt support.

During this time, I have received many messages of support and I thank all citizens who are with us right now.

I appreciate the discretion in this situation.

I understand and deeply feel everyone's willingness to find us around. Us and Kosovo.

But at this time of pandemic, like around the world, we have a concern for the lives of citizens.

I don't want any life to be in danger.

Because that was also the purpose of our war. Living free without risk of life. Everyone's life is worth it.

Therefore, with the utmost understanding, and the most sincere request, I beg my fellow fighters and all citizens to cancel this protest.

Dear Citizens

Kosovo's path to freedom and independence has not been easy.

It was the effort of many generations. Our grandparents, our parents, women, and men, both old and young, have made great and serious sacrifices.

Kosovo and families in Kosovo have experienced great violence from the Serbian state.

But being together, we managed to accomplish what seemed impossible.

Freedom and the state of Kosovo.

The century-old dream of our entire historic commitment, which we must recognize by weight.

And no one can undo this glorious story.

Because, it is the story of the people of Kosovo, of our suffering and common sacrifice, but also of resistance and glory.

New generation is entitled to learn the true history of freedom and the state of Kosovo and protect it. That the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army was a defensive, clean war for our rights.

Today and the future of this country and this nation is unstoppable, bright and secure.
