In an interview on the Real Story with Sokol Balla, James Rubin said one of the most important tasks in his life had been to help the people of Kosovo.

To be honest, I am proud of the work I did with Hashim Thaci in 1998-1999, because together we managed to secure international support for Kosovo”, Ruby said at Real Story.

“I doubt Germany, France or others take a different stance on resolving Kosovo dispute Sir. I know Trump administration has a different approach, and France and German have not supported it. Rubin also said he would be pleased to work in the future with President Thaci, while he stressed that he would work with other leaders. Kosovo, only if they are realistic, not idealistic.
Rubin said he does not believe the charges against Thaci are true.
“Based on friendship with Hashim and the desire for the people of Kosovo to move forward, I don't believe that people who issue charges are correct. I believe I will be proud of my friendship with Hashim Thaci even today”.
