The 2020 budget review session has crashed the Vetevoedosje and PDK Movement.
MPs from the two largest opposition parties have pressed charges of quotas pertaining to attitudes about budget review in 2020.
MP from the Vetevendosje Movement, Lieburn Aliu, has criticised PDK deputies, saying the latter in the sessions have opportunistic positions, until finally they vote again.
“As far as colleagues from the Democratic Party, the opportunistic position of criticism, and at the end of the vote remind us of the past we have had such situations with both the LDK and the PSD, with all of it, but this opportunistic stance does not benefit. We're knowing that this budget leads to destruction and that we're going to talk to me about the situation, but we're going to vote anyway because people think they're getting worse, that's a lie”, he said.
The immediate reaction was by the PDK deputy, Ismaili Bridge, who has said today's budget vote will be made for “hir” of citizens.
We said several times that our vote today is the citizen vote, but MP Aliu I consider this vote to be an opportunist but there was no such approach when we voted the Kurti Government's request. Even today, we are in the same situation where we consider that as the opposition we have no position in political formations at the expense of citizens”, he has said.
Still, VV deputy Lieburn Aliu has reacted, reminding Ismail that they have only voted off the deadline for the budget for a month, while adding that Kurti's government budget has not voted.
