IKPK accepts 41,000 complete testing by Luxembourg, Austria

The 41 thousand complete testing in the fight against COVID-19 has been delivered to the National Institute of Public Health, reports Online Economics.

This donation is financed by Luxembourg and Austria, which is considered welcome for health personnel.

Health Minister Amend Zemaj has said that this donation will facilitate the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

We are on a common front of commitment to facilitate citizens' struggle with pandemic. We are here to thank the ambassador on behalf of the citizens and the UNDP, who have implemented the conduct of tests in record time and will facilitate our fight in the situation in which we find”, Zemaj said.

IKSHPK Director Naser Ramadani has said testing capacities have now grown.

He has said the number of tests will increase to six regional institutions as well.

“has brought into the largest laboratory test container and brought in 41,000 tests that will serve for the laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19. We have increased capacities and will continue to grow, but for a short time even at 6 regional institutes”, Ramadani told EO.

While Austria's ambassador to Kosovo, Christoph Weidtinger, said Austria would always help Kosovo, not only this time with tests.
