The participating states are Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Northern Macedonia.

The Council's announcement reportedly will be the main speakers, Avdullah Hoti, Aleksandar Vuciq, Stevo Pendarovski, Zoran Tegeltija and Dragica Sekulic.

The Atlantic Council reports that, in terms of this summit, the six Western Balkan states have agreed on practical actions to advance regional economic co-operation.

These concrete steps will help the region emerge from the devastating impact of COVID-19 with greater economic development potential”, says the Atlantic Council's announcement.

This agreement will show the commitment of leaders to boost economic growth by following the free movement of goods, persons and services beyond the region's borders. The move will also set in motion an important plan for attracting foreign investment and accelerating the effective deployment of recovery funds from COVIDD-1950, it is said.

The Atlantic Council is a non-party organisation based in the US capital Washington.
