The EU's special representative for dialogue and other Western Balkan issues, Miroslav Lajcak, after meeting in Brussels, between Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said they have agreed that next week they will continue in Brussels to work intensively at the additional level.

Lajcak has thanked both sides that came to Brussels and their engagement today.

Today's “Failed to focus on two elements, the first element was missing persons and displaced persons. On the first topic, this is a very symbolic issue in the context of reconciliation, and it's a lot of real issues for families living in uncertainty for decades. It is essential to work with the International Red Cross Committee to resolve the remaining cases and close the file. As for the second theme, it is also an important issue and has to do with ensuring stable living conditions for those who have already returned. The second item in today's agenda was economic co-operation, which is one of the main pillars of the European Union, intensified economic co-operation means to create full economic potential for Kosovo and Serbia's young and means to create jobs and improve life standards for people”, he has said.

Lajcak stressed that he is pleased that after today's initial exchange of positions of the two leaders, all have agreed to continue to work intensively at the additional level that will happen next week.
