The first of the Government, Avdullah Hoti, has said that even at the virtual Western Balkan countries' partnership summit, held Thursday, it is being discussed for economic co-operation according to European principles.
Asked by Top Channel if I will accept the invitation for the upcoming meeting between the Balkan Schengen region partners, Hoti has said there are no mini Schengen.
The second largest party in Government, The AAK say they do not believe Prime Minister Hoti will agree to become part of any meeting on this subject, given that the AAK is against it.
The Schengen Balkan idea began at the time Kosovo was governed by former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. It was strongly backed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Haradinaj refuses to participate in any meeting, as opposed to the idea of creating a market only among Western Balkan countries. Prime Minister Albin Kurti was also opposed.
