Hoti changes her mind: There will be isolation measures for those returning from Albania

The Kosovo Ministry of Health and Government's proposal for establishing a measure of self-isolation for Kosovo citizens returning from Albania has sparked numerous reactions, not only from citizens and businessmen, but also from politicians themselves. Such a move was called absurd by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Melza Haradinaj. [...]
Such a move was called absurd by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Melza Haradinaj Stublla, but differences were made by Deputy Prime Minister from NISMA Social Democrat Albulen Balaj -Halim. And the biggest concern remains from the Tourist Agencies in Kosovo.
Ruzhdi Kurtishaj, chairman of the Road Transport, has held a meeting with the prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, and Infrastructure Minister Arba Abrashi.
Kurtishaj has said that he has received assurances from both, which will not have a measure of self-awareness for Kosovars returning from the mother state, as according to him, COVID-19 is in Albania, but in Kosovo.
“As far as the matter of the measure of self-isolation is concerned, I want to thank Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Balaj Halimi, meanwhile, Minister Vesel Krasniqi, who was classified against the deployment of the isolation measure for Kosovo vacationers who will go to Albania during their return.
But a thank you both to Minister Abrashi and Prime Minister Hoti, who have received on the basis of my request as Head of the Road Transport of Travelers, as well as Head of the Chamber of Economics, business concern to address the issue of the isolation measure for the return of Kosovo citizens from Albania.
There are three fundamental issues to answer. The first, the site of the pandemic crisis is not in Albania, but in Kosovo. Second, the issue of creating the general immunity of the population, so while many citizens already have very low wages, many of them are even able to go to Albania, while before us is the autumn and winter season, so it is more necessary to create immunity to face this virus. Therefore, it is imperative that they stay for several days in the sun, opposite the sea or iodine.
Another issue, is that of paying hotels, whether by companies or by tourist agencies or even by citizens who have given their advance. So who's gonna deal with them?
Considering all of this, I have detailedly explained to each minister and we already have co-ordination, the guarantee that there will be self-issuance for Kosovo citizens returning from Albania”.
Curtisaj at the end says this is good news for all those who have planned Bajrami's holiday, or weekend, of the Albanian coast.
“Prime Minister Hoti said that Health Minister Armend Zemaj is travelling towards Tirana to meet with his Albanian counterpart, to take security measures, but in no way not isolation”, he concludes.
