Hoti-Macron meeting starts in Paris

The meeting has begun between Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and the president of France, Emmanuel Macron.

Hoti-Macron meeting is being held at the Elysse Presidential Palace.

This meeting between Hoti and Macron in the French capital precedes the virtual Paris Summit, in which German Chancellor Angela Merkel will also be attended on July 10th.

Meanwhile after this video conference with Merkel and Macron, Hoti will travel to Brussels on 12 July to attend the meeting with Serbia's president, Alexander Vuciq, who will be mediated by EU High Representative Josep Borelli.

“At the meeting, discussions will resume to work on reaching a comprehensive and legal agreement on normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, dealing with all outstanding issues”, Brussels report said.

This tight Brussels initiative comes after the failure of Washington's meeting, which was initiated by Trump's emissary Richard Green.

Already, from Washington, a new date of meetings is expected to be set, until in Kosovo there will likely be an institutional composition, since the country's president will not be able to travel to the US after publicising the Special Proposal.
