Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj has presented the proposal that the structures of the Ministry of European Integration be moved to the Office of the Prime Minister and the agency for European Integration be established.
The “in order not to remain the structures of the former unsystemised European Integration Ministry, taking into account the importance of European integration and continuing to meet obligations under the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, has been proposed to displace organisational structures temporarily from the former European integration minister under the Office of the Prime Minister. With the entry into force of this decision imposed on the Prime Minister's Office to initiate the process of drafting the concept-document for establishing the agency for European integration and following the passage of procedures and drafting of the bill for the establishment of the Agency for European Integration”, Selmanaj has said.
This proposal of decision was voted in majority by members of the Kosovo government.
