Hot for the second time in Thaci's office

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has met with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hotin today for the second time in a few days. At this meeting, the central theme has been the serious situation in the country as a result of the pandemic, until it is unknown whether the two heads of institutions have also discussed declaring the state of emergency. Even so [...]
Despite this, the head of government at the conference has warned that in two days there will be a final assessment of the situation and has warned new measures.
In the communiqué sent by the president's office, they have reportedly discussed interilateral co-ordination in the context of the fight against pandemic, the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as other issues that concern economic development, reforms and the economic package.
Thaci has said it is extremely important that inter-institutional co-operation be effective.
“We discussed how to get the better, the easier, and the faster the pandemic to respect all recommendations of experts and the National Institute of Health. And in this direction we must all work together, but first of all, have full respect from everyone, indiscriminately, of measures recommended by the institution”, President Thaci said.
The country's first reiterated, welcoming Skender Hyseni's appointment as the co-ordinator for Dialogue, meanwhile, stressed that dialogue will by no means slide to technical level.
“We need to clarify the report between the state of Kosovo and Serbia, so mutual recognition occurs and in no circumstances allow this process to descend to the technical level, because the Kosovo report Serbia is extremely political and not technical. Technical level means status-quo and respect for Serbia's agenda”, the president of Kosovo said.
