Full communication:
Warning?
During the past month, we have received complaints from many disabled and their family members that their financial support has been cut off, respectively, state subsidies. We have been addressed to the Ministry of Labour and Social Goods, who have initially informed us that this happened because of the expiration of the terms of decisions they have had for a certain period, which under the Laws in power should be reevaluated.
But because of the pandemic situation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Management are looking into this issue to find solutions so that no one can be harmed. According to them, it will happen that those with decisions that have expired the deadlines will only be required additional documents, or continued for several months until the normalisation of the situation.
We have also requested and continue to ask the government and the relevant ministry to continue the additional payments of all those who have received the same for three months, appears to have been initiated by the current situation, which is burdening and povertying even more.
We believe we will soon have the answer that we will inform you of in time.
Honestly,
Africa Maliqi Director of HANDICOS
