Trump set the mask as he paid a visit to Walter Reed Military Hospital outside Washington, where he met with wounded soldiers and health care workers.
“I've never been against using the mask, but I believe their use has a time and place”- Trump said as he left the White House.
Trump has never been seen wearing a mask on meetings and other visits, even taunting Democrat rival Joe Biden for wearing a mask.
After his visit Saturday, Trump said: I think that when you're in the hospital, especially in a particular pain where some soldiers and people had just left the operating room, I think it's great to put the mask”.
