Gramoz Wekrri, open to return to NFK

Gramoz Vokrri, son of Albanian football legend Fadil Vokrrit, has discovered that there has never been an official call to return to the Kosovo Football Federation since he left in a controversial manner more than a year ago, but has indicated he is open to return. In [...]
Early in 2019, Gramoz left the Kosovo football house, which his father had led until he passed away, following disagreements with its leaders, reports “Gazeta Express”.
After 26 years in France, Gramoz returned to Pristina in 2016 and became part of the FFK in 2018, shortly after the death of former President Vokri on 9 June.
Agim Ademi was appointed successor to Fadil Vokrrid at the top of the NFF, which he holds today, but after a few months Gramoz had disagreements with him and since 2019 is not part of the federation.
He denied that FFK leaders have urged him to return, calling such news rumors, but acknowledged he would be open to this.
I didn't get an official call to return to the federation ever, there were more rumors. Of course my life is inseparable by football because I grew up with this. But things must be talked about”, Gramoz Vokri said on the “show. Tonight” in T7.
Asked if he would like to follow his father's path, he replied: Absolutely. I was beside him even before the accession, then we had some disagreement, but it's not the end of the world. Football brings people together. It was conceptual disagreement, in a sports way”.
He hopes Kosovo will be able to qualify at the 2020 European Championship, which is played in 2021 because of the postponement due to the coronary pandemic, even though it thinks the odds are 50/50.
Kosovo will face northern Macedonia in the semifinals of play-off and eventually in the finals with Belarus or Georgia in October.
