The Ministry of Labour and Social Management has expressed its support for the bill and has stressed that its adoption would complete the legal infrastructure for the protection and respect of war values, the sacrifice, commitment and contribution of the KLA to Kosovo's freedom and independence.
Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj said that, in accordance with the completion of the Parliament, the material is available and can be processed in the Kosovo Assembly.
“The head of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament by the 18th June 2020 date has concluded through which it has been asked to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to present the thought regarding the KLA War Values Protection Bill. Budget impacts and the declaration of EU legislation on this bill. In accordance with the completion of the Parliament, the material is available and can be processed to the Kosovo Assembly”, he said.
Against having voted Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Power Goran Rakic and Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Yevtic.
