The Government Cabinet has described as unnecessary drafting the law on management and prevention of pandemic, whose initiative has been initiated by several Kosovo Assembly deputies, at the helm by Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani.
Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj said the management of the pandemic is sufficiently regulated with legislation in force and specific provisions of the Constitution.
Kosovo's “government does not support the legislative initiative initiated by some of the Parliament's deputies for new legal regulation, with which the restriction of some of the fundamental freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution is made. He appreciates the adoption of the draft law on management and prevention of pandemic”, Selmanaj said.
