Government does not even allow animal slaughter at home

On the eve of the Kurban Bajrami Festival, Muslim believers cannot slaughter animals in their homes.

This, since the Government of Kosovo, among the measures taken to prevent Avid-19, has also banned the slaughter of animals in any open or closed environment.

Also, one of the government's measures for the prevention of Ovid 19 is the physical participation of citizens in all religious ceremonies and activities throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

But without specifying whether Kurban Bajrami's pardon is an exception.

14. No public markets activity of vehicles and animals throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

15. No animal slaughter in any open or closed environment except in animal slaughter environments authorized.

16. The physical participation of citizens in all religious ceremonies and activities in the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo is forbidden.
