Gorrie, the doctor who discovered the air cooling system

The doctor wanted sick people from fever to feel better in Florida's subtropical climate, so he asked nurses to bring buckets of ice and blow air through the ice.

The moving air through the ice created a cooling effect. Before long, John Gorrie left medicine to experiment.

He tried to build an ammonia machine to cool the air and thus gave birth to the first mechanical ice machine and then the refrigerator.

Today, throughout the world central cooling and air conditioning has generally become something common in most homes, offices, and cars.
