Germany will propose free tests of COVIDD-19 for travelers returning to the country and will place airport reception centres for those coming from danger zones, regional health ministers decided today.

The obligation to submit to the test is still being studied, but those who have stayed in a dangerous area, about 130 countries currently, must be isolated for 14 days or until receiving a negative” result, noted Dilek Kalayci, Health Minister Brlinez.

Travelers from other countries will be able to test at other centres, except at the airport.

While Germany is so far one of the most spared countries in Europe by the new choreography, officials fear a second wave imported from vacationers returning from vacation.

Today, all eyes have turned mainly on the beaches around the Mediterranean, loved by millions of Germans who go there every summer, especially in Majorca.

For example, the new Germans have been seen there celebrating without the slightest measure of health.

“We consider that there is a high risk of importing the chains of infection”, Kaleyci stressed after a conference call with her counterparts from other Landes.

“This is why we have decided that travellers returning from dangerous countries to be encouraged to test and that the testing centre will be established even at” airports, it continued.

The “travelers coming from countries that are not danger zones can be tested and all these deportations will be free of”, she added.

Among the 130 danger zones identified by the Robert Koch Institute, the federal epidemiological and health authority, are currently the US, Brazil, Argentina, Israel and Russia.
