Germany confiscated a server with sensitive US data

At the request of the US government, German authorities confiscated a computer server containing a large number of files from US federal, state and local law enforcement agencies seized during the Houston data theft last month.

The prosecutor's office in Zwickau, a German town near the Czech border, reported yesterday that the server was seized on 3 July, given the American authorities' request, the AP reports.
