Gastronomers on Monday hand over the key to Government

The leaders of these organisations called on institutions to urgently remove the restrictions of movement and other measures, as the crisis in businesses deepens daily and more. While stressing that they are economically ill and the institutions are not giving him the hand, they said a new manual is needed, which will have to be done together with businesses.

When we look at Prizren's most circulated roads, we can see reports of locals being issued on foot in the middle of the summer season and believe these reports will begin to rise as of September. Businesses have lost hope from the summer season and have entered the idea of how they bring you to the end of the year. A major economic crisis is awaiting us, whether the authorities are aware of it or not. The government has not taken any steps on the issue so far, but businessmen are not satisfied with the economic flow. Also, in this regard we have penalties from the Tax Administration, inspection checks. We expect the government to take very serious and urgent steps to support the economy“, he said.

He added that limiting the movement in Prizren has eliminated the latest alternative to revive the economy.

The gastronomy sector is unable to function, we urgently ask the authorities to remove the restriction of movement and other measures. We support the demands of the Kosovo Gastronomous Association, and if the expected decision is not realised, I want to stress once again that by July 27th, Monday, at 12:00 o'clock, we will carry out a symbolic action before the government and close our jobs from 12:00 to 1:15x1>, he said.

Kosovo Gastronomers' Association Chairman Petrit Kllokoqi said that as the measures tightened, no relief has been made by the government for businesses.

“At this stage where we are now, I'm confident that the best way would be to call us gastronomials, like other economics and make a common manual and watch how to create financial facilities with them. We regularly learned the rules in the media, which has been wrong and not acceptable to business. We haven't been for the manual either, the manual was from the beginning incorrectly“, he said.

He added that our symbolic shares are to show how organised they are, how large they are and that they are the biggest contributors to the economy.

Our “Action is linked to a key that we will give the government, never to shoot, never to damage the state property that we built ourselves, but we have given it to him. When I say we give it to the government, parliament and the whole state. We don't have problems with political parties or different subjects, we have a problem with the entire state garrison. They are not supporting us, we are economically ill and are not giving us a hand”, he said, adding that they no longer feel obliged to respond to ATK and the state because they have no support.

Krokoqi finally said this is the first symbolic action but will not be the last if their demands are ignored.
