VV deputy chief Arben Gashi, at a joint conference with Mejtim Shala, acknowledged that there were tensions during the Commission, but that he denied that LDK deputies were involved in the debate.
He also said there were discussions in the corridor of the Parliament with VV deputies, but not even physical attacks.
“There has been a commission meeting, the meeting has been largely tense. Tensions have been demonstrated by LVV deputies with the chairman of the commission and foreign affairs minister. We as MPs are not involved in these debates. Then there was a discussion by the deputy speaker of the assembly, and after the discussion, Grandnza started to offend the MP... And we're kind of out, and with discussions in the corridor, MP Grandpianca and MEP Pacolli showed aggressive language, and we left. I think it's the flow you're rising from the LVV that's damaging the reputation of deputies”, he said.
Kosovo Assembly Deputy Chairman Kujtim Shala said they were not involved in the commission's debate.
