Forecast at the opening of the Summit: I welcome that Vuciq Hoti is feeling responsible for making deals

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti is participating in this summit organised by French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In this video, the European Union is represented by senior foreign policy representative Josep Borrell and Emisari Miroslav Lajcak. The Serbian side is being represented by President Alexander Vuciq.

At the opening of this summit, Macro said the situation is with many risks in terms of stability, while adding that resolving problems between Kosovo and Serbia is in everyone's interest in Europe.

There is a situation with many risks in terms of stability... A year ago was the Berlin Summit with Chancellor Merkel, who has commissioned a resolution, and it is in the interest of all Europeans to find the appropriate, sustainable solution”, Macron said.

He has welcomed the fact that Hoti and Vuciq are feeling responsible for finding a stable agreement.

“I would like to welcome the head of state Vuciq and Prime Minister Hoti for sharing this sense of responsibility with us. The EU will take over facilitating the dialogue process. There have been many results achieved with the help of the EU”, Macron said. “It is now necessary to seek an agreement on this discussion to be a legal, binding and final conclusion”.
