While ten-day requests are based on the personal responsibility of those who are ordered to quarantine, after the “The Local” reported that they will be monitored by telephone calls and possible visits to the home.
People who fail to respect the terms of quarantine, for example, by going out or having guests can suffer a fine of up to 10,000 francs, pass away albinfo.ch.
People who do this out of carelessness, that's. Unaware of the demand for quarantine, they will answer for a fine of up to 5,000 francs.
Similar fines apply when individuals deliberately or carelessly place others in danger of infection.

What countries are on the list?
The official list of high-risk countries was published last Thursday. Some of the most visible countries include Sweden, Serbia, Kosovo, the United States, Israel and Russia.
The full list is: Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrejni, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Chile, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Iraq, Israel, Qatar, Colombia, Kosovo, Kuwait, Moldova, North Macedonia, Oman, Panama, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Serbia, South Africa, the islands of Turkey and Caic and the United States.
Anyone who seems to be sick should not be allowed to board buses, trains, or flights to Switzerland.
