The Kosovo government leading with Avdullah Hoti, has today held the 14th meeting, in which he has made several decisions.

Through a communique addressed to the media, the Prime Minister's Office has announced that at this meeting, the Government has suggested the legislative initiative for the Bill to protect the values of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has been approved and prosecuted for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's thought of the legislative initiative for the Bill for Change and completion of the Law on Public Finance Management.

Three decisions have been made on further examination of the demand for public interest.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development's application for the distribution of financial resources worth 719 euros for the Suhareka municipality for compensation for damages caused by natural disasters has been approved.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, has held a regular meeting with the adoption of certain government decisions and policies in its areas of constitutional and legal responsibilities.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo, in accordance with the conclusions of the Republic of Kosovo, has suggested the legislative initiative for the Bill to protect the values of the Kosovo Liberation Army's war. In the outlook on compliance with the European Union legislation, the provisions of this area are reportedly not regulated with EU legislation, and as such remains in the capacity of internal regulation for the countries of the European Union. The Ministry of Labour and Social Management has expressed its support for the bill and has stressed that its adoption would complete the legal infrastructure for the protection and respect of war values, the sacrifice, commitment and contribution of the KLA to Kosovo's freedom and independence.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo has been approved and prosecuted for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's thought of the legislative initiative for the Bill for Change and completion of the Law on Public Finance Management. In the opinion of the Ministry of Finance on the Bill, it is stressed that proposals for legal changes are summed up in fiscal rules for the provisional growth of the deficit limit in Pandemia-19 circumstances and in changing the banking balance. The ministry has found that in the current provisions of the Law, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has already made changes to overstep the deficit fiscal rules and limiting the banking balance. Hence, it is also considered that the proposed changes with this legislative initiative are not necessary.

The government cabinet at today's meeting has approved the National Programme for Implementation of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement 2020-2024. The programme aims to define measures and priorities of state institutions for implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union. The programme's primary goal is to set measures and priorities that will enable the fulfilment of obligations stemming from this agreement and is seen as one of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo priorities on the road to integration into the European Union.

The approval of the government cabinet has been made by three decisions to further review the demand for public interest. The first decision concerns objects managed by the Kosovar Privatisation Agency and affected by the implementation of projects: the construction of the amphitheater park in the village of Musht and the children's village of the elderly in the Suhareka municipality's studioencan village. The second decision on expropriating real estate, which is affected by the restoration and conservation of the “State object The KLA in the Kosterres”, the Skyright Town. The third decision, meanwhile, is to expropriate private real estate, which is affected by the construction of “Subtitles to file” for access to the American Embassy.

The government has approved the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development's demand for the allocation of financial resources worth 719 euros for the Suhareka municipality for compensation for damages caused by basic natural disasters in agricultural economies in this municipality.

At today's meeting, the Government has appointed Minister Agim Veliu, National Co-ordinator for the Prevention of Violent Extremism and Combating Terrorism. With that decision, he will carry out the tasks and responsibilities set out for co-ordination, co-ordination, monitoring and reporting policy implementation, activities and actions regarding the issues of combating terrorism and violent extremism. In this capacity, the co-ordinator will advise the prime minister on issues related to fighting terrorism, and violent extremism and radicalism, and will co-ordinate the activities of all relevant institutions in the issues of fighting terrorism and measures against violent extremism. The National Co-ordinator for the Prevention of Violent Extremism and Combating Terrorism will be responsible and inter-institutional and international contact points for all issues related to terrorism and violent extremism, including co-ordinating organisation, donations and local and international projects.
