Ali Podrima was reported missing from his family and relatives, who said they had lost contact with him since July 18th.
The Denisation that alarmed Kosovo diplomacy took place on 20 July. A day later, French police found the poet's lifeless body near the town of Lodwe, where he had travelled to attend an international poetry festival.
According to the French investigators' report, no signs of violence have been found on the deceased's body and the possibility of suicide is ruled out. For French authorities, Podrima has lost navigation during a forest walk, and after hours of movement it has been dehydrated.
Ali Podrima was born on August 28, 1942, in Gjakova, in times of war and under any convenience, and had a very difficult childhood.
Ali Podrija is the author of more than ten poetry volumes and is held today by criticism as the most typical representative of today's Albanian poetry and as a prestigious and international poet.
