He adds that Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Milorad Dodik earlier accepted the genocide in Srebrenica and later changed the story.
Asked whether Bosnia is preparing to recognise Kosovo, Komssic says in an interview for Deutsche Welle there is no such agreement at the presidency level and that, as he said, “this is not an unknown item”.
Dodik strongly opposes this, though if you will be realistic and pragmatic, Kosovo is a state. Done. That's the end of the story. We are just waiting for Belgrade to accept that fact, accept it, and then things will be easier. Now we witness protests. Corona's pandemic was used for some kind of rebellion, and it was said to be a protest against the introduction of statehood”.
“After a few moments, it was clear that there was no connection to the pandemic, but that it had to do with Kosovo, because everything we saw in the sights coming from Belgrade shows that there is even an organised political structure that hid the goal by talking about the framework that was to prevent an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina”, he said.
