The number of those infected with COVID-19 in Kosovo has reached 4,307. Of them 94 have lost their lives and the healed are 2,095.
To date, cases active with COVID-19 in Kosovo are 2,118. Health Ministry spokesman Faik Hoti has published several statistics of COVIDD-19 in Kosovo, as well as the number of health personnel affected by this virus.
Based on the latest data from the IKSHPK, the top five municipalities that currently have the largest number of infected persons are Pristina with 1220 positive cases where 879 are still active, with 397 cases totaling 104 still active cases, Prizren with 378 confirmed positive cases with COVID-19, where 151 are still active, Ferizaj with 324 confirmed positive 181 cases and pesa as the most affected municipality of Gjilani with a total of 25 cases where 103 are still active.
According to these statistics, 222 nurses are sick in the health institution, 160 doctors who are also sick at the health institution, 11 doctors and 13 nurses are sick outside the health institution. Touched by COVID-19 there are 8 pharmacists, 2 pharmacy technicians and 2 fizoterapeut.
At the level of the region Kosovo ranks fourth with the highest number of infected.
The first is Serbia with 17,342 cases, the second is North Macedonia with 7,572 cases, the third ranks Bosnia and Herzegovina with 6,086 cases and the fourth with 4,307 cases.
IK The KPS and the Health Ministry are constantly calling on citizens to be careful and continue to wear masks, respect social distance and maintain hygiene.
