Coronavirus leaves over 400,000 unemployed persons in Kosovo

The unemployed in Kosovo during the pandemic have added more than 400,000 other citizens.

Yusuf Azemi, chairman of the Independent Private Sector Union, says the situation in this sector is extremely serious.

Azemi said the most affected sector is gastronomy, which has been forced to reduce the number of workers due to small revenues.

According to Azemit Assembly of Kosovo with budget failure is working against the will and will of workers.

By March, when the first cases of coronavius were confirmed, many businesses were closed and others halved staff as a result of the government's measures of prevention.
