Masks, physical distance, and personal hygiene are three requirements that health institutions have toward citizens. However, tonight the government is expected to take additional measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
They include paralyses of disinfectant at any object, baning public gatherings and religious rituals to another decision, but also penalties for all who do not comply.
And the measures warned today by Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti have found support for citizens who view them as necessary to protect their health.
Citizens Florentina Maliqi told Kosova Prees that the measures taken are appropriate and that they must be respected, as the only way to be protected by the Coronavirus.
“In my opinion it is better to use masks and protect our health ... It is better to have penalties, as we are in danger then, better to wear masks and protect our health”, she said.
Another citizen, Sokol Hamiti, government measures against COVID-19 views citizens as necessary, but it says that more awareness is needed instead of warned sentences.
It's good to hold them, it's good for citizens as well as for everyone, clean and sound..., masks, guarantees that it's a threat to human health. Citizens didn't wear masks, didn't respect them, didn't keep any distance... Sentences are very unreasonable, but greater awareness is needed”, he said.
While Ibrahim Mehmet says the measures taken by the government are good for citizens, as far as he stressed that citizens themselves should be aware of the safeguards against COVID-19.
“The measures have undertaken goods are some suggestions, the population almost most are using... very valuable is this, must certainly use all of them”, he said.
Citizens Abbedin Blaku said the reason he was out of town squares without a mask is because they are costing too much. He says it would be good to distribute masks free of charge for citizens.
It's good to wear masks, but I don't have it, it's expensive to buy it, people don't have money... It would be good for them to be distributed for free”, he said.
So far there are 4715 cases of COVID-19, of them 2227, and there are 101 dead.
