Tuesday's afternoon, chief market inspector in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Lulzim Syla, has been attacked by two consumers during regular inspection at a restaurant.

The eye has told about news.net, that the case has been opened to suspects.

“has been regular inspection in Pristina yesterday around 12:10. Taking inspection at a local business subject was okay, but the moment we got back, there were eight people at a table and we suggested that the economic operator not allow eight people on the table because they were eating bread. In that case, two of them attacked us. After that attack I called the police very quickly and then interviewed those two people and the case was opened. This happened yesterday at 12:10 a.m. Which means I'm also a senior inspector after having a small number of inspectors, and I'm showing myself, just for the sake of my country, just for the sake of the population, just to convey the situation of how it's going”, Syla showed.

He has shown that the economic operator was in order, but only when he was warned not to allow eight people at a table, two of these consumers have verbally attacked Syla, and, as he pointed out, there has been an attempt even on physical assault, but that's been prevented.

So I'm pointing out, the business or the economic operator has had everything in order, in masks with all, except that there were eight people lunching and we've suggested that they don't allow eight people, and when we're back and we're pointing around, saying that there's eight people there and then two of them, that I don't even know who they are, they attacked us. I appeal not to such things happen because the normal thing that the police immediately intervenes is not misunderstandings. This is the last chance because we'll never stop. It was a verbal attack, it tried to be physical, but I stopped it physically because it's normal that I don't allow that”, Syla stressed.

Chief Inspector Syla says he has given his testimony to the Kosovo Police and that, in this case, Minister Vesel Krasniqi is also reported as well as all the responsible organs.

Despite this attack, Syla tells of the news.net, that they will not stop at any moment, much less at the time of the pandemic.

So I have given my testimony to the police as well, the police have come and reacted very quickly and I am very grateful to them. Again I appeal that we will not stop, no matter what happens to us. Again I say it is for the good of the land, the good of the people because of the pandemic, which is spreading far and wide. We're not going to stop and there's nobody stopping us and especially me as Chief Inspector there's no way anybody can stop me. In this case, the minister and all organs are also notified”, he indicated.
