“Urban Trafficking”, these losses brought to the Kosovo Government stoppages as a preventive measure for the spread of Coronavius, reports Online Economics.
Pristina Chief Executive Transport Chief Lulzim Rexhepaj has said the Pristina municipality has helped this company by paying its monthly salaries.
“Dations are large and total over 700 thousand euros for April and more than half of May. We as municipal companies have directed to the municipality of Pristina for assistance and the municipality has responded positively to the monthly salaries of April, and on this occasion we thank it on behalf of all family and workers, that the municipality with the payment of salaries for April has made workers feel better and more comfortable, while in May we have begun and generated means for pay and operational spending”, he says.
On the other hand, Rexhepaj says no workers with Coronavirus are at the company.
He said the allegations have been repeatedly due to various family contacts, but all have been sent to isolation itself.
We haven't had any infection so far, we've had suspicion constantly, and it's derived from different family contacts, but we've taken steps that we've sent into isolation itself”.
Furthermore, he has confirmed that in urban traffic buses all measures and recommendations that are in place are being respected.
However, there has been resistance from citizens, he says they are satisfied with their understanding.
Rexhepaj has said that at this time only 20 passengers are allowed on urban traffic buses.
There may have been little resistance from citizens from a small number, and so far we are very satisfied with the understanding that we have found in citizens, and although it's a little difficult because we operate at reduced capacity because we allow only 20 travelers and in many cases should close the door without allowing other passengers to leave, and so far we have passed”, he said.
“Sic is looking at the increase in the number of cases we're prejudiced that this situation will last and we're not the ones who determine the measures and that it's going to last, but we need to get used to and educate so that in the future we can work on our life and life activities”.
Speaking of preventing pandemics, Rexhepaj appeals to citizens to respect the measures against Coronavirus.
The pandemic situation has created problems for us as well as for all of the country's institutions, but we must continue to be strong and to be unique in respecting measures made by responsible institutions”.
“Initially during the month of March we have made staff reductions then there was that period when our company's activity was completely cut off in April, and we resumed and started working on May 18th and we continue to operate according to the measures that are in place”, he told EO.
