Boarding session for budget review, Bajrami on behalf of Hoti seeks MP vote

The Kosovo Assembly's extraordinary session has started with a single point of the agenda.

This session will be voted into a budget review.

“Second review of Bill No.07/ L-014 for completing and changing Law No.07/ L-001 on budgetary divisions for the Kosovo Republic budget for 2020” is the only point of the agenda.

Immediately after the start of the session, Chief Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani has asked MPs to respect measures to protect from the pandemic.

All who have symptoms must stay at home. If you have been a contact case, you must isolate yourself for 14 days”, Osmani said.

Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has spoken on behalf of the Government. It has asked MPs to vote for a revision of the budget.

I am authorized by the prime minister to give the reason for calling the extraordinary session. As commissions have carried out the budget review work, the budget is voted today so that we can proceed with implementation of the measures.

I request your understanding for review of this” budget, Bajrami said.
