(6 years ago)Following the first reading of the draft budget, Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has announced beneficiaries of the emergency package that once second reading is voted, the vehicles will be distributed. In the Assembly today, the change of budgetary divisions has been adopted in principle, while Minister Bajram has pledged that the payments to the beneficiaries of the emergency package have been granted.

Today, on July 13, 2020, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has approved Bill No. 07/L-014 for completing and changing Law No.07/ L-001 on budgetary divisions for the Kosovo Republic budget for 2020.
The Finance Ministry thanks the deputies of the Republic of Kosovo for their support of the 2020 budget revision bill and requires the bill to be prosecuted as soon as possible on parliamentary commissions so the same can be brought to the Assembly for the final vote.
The Finance Ministry announces the opinion that immediately after the adoption of the bill in the second reading, and its entry into force will create legal opportunity for executing remaining payments for all beneficiaries of the pending emergency fiscal package and all other budgetary divisions.
The Finance Ministry invites all beneficiaries to patience and expresses the full pledge that the execution of the payments will be immediately realised once the bill enters into force.
